It is with deep sadness that the family of the late CHARLES C. ROGERS of Fortune announces his passing.  Charles passed away at the Burin Peninsula Health Centre in Burin on Sunday, April 19th, 2020 at the age of 76.

Leaving to mourn with a lifetime of wonderful memories are his wife, Dorothy of 21 years; daughters, Angela Rogers (Mark) of Edmonton, AB, Lana Tyrrell (Nick) of Scarborough, ON, Lisa Kearley (David) of Grand Bank, and Bonnie Green (Colin) of Medicine Hat, AB; step-daughter, Shelley Symes (Stan) of Fortune; step-son, Perry Barnes (Kim) of Fortune; 7 grandchildren, Chelsea, Brittany, Robin, Stephen, Megan, Taylor and Casey; 3 great-grandchildren,  Payton, Paxton, and Julien; 3 step-grandchildren, Bradley, Tyler, and Hillary; 3 step-great-grandchildren, Bridget, Callie, and Oaklynn; sister, Mary Grandy (Joe) of Grand Bank; sister-in-law, Betty Rogers of Grand Bank; plus a large number of family and friends.

Charles was predeceased by his parents, William George & Alvina Rogers; brother, Edward Rogers; step-grandson, Matthew Symes; and brother-in-law, Harry Grandy.

 Due to the current Public Health Advisory of COVID-19 a funeral service will take place at a later date.
