It is with deep sadness that the family of the late FLORENCE M. STACEY of Point May announces her passing. Florence passed away at the Blue Crest Home in Grand Bank on Tuesday, March 24th, 2020 at the age of 85.

 Leaving to mourn with a lifetime of wonderful memories are her sons, Kenny (Una) of Point May, Glen (Roxanne) of Point May, Eli (Madonna) of Point May, Bruce of Grand Bank, Vincent (Amanda) of Fortune, Derrick (Collette) of Fortune, and Donald (Loretta) of Point May; daughters, Melinda (Joe) of Southern Harbour, Charlotte (Gerard) of Point May, Viola (Tony) of Flatrock, Roberta (Josh) of Grand Bank, and Vivian (Karl) of Point May; 26 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; sisters, Pearl Burton (Don), Audrey Bullerwell, Robert Pritchett, and Laura Clarke; brother, Hubert Crews; sister-in-law, Elizabeth Parsons; plus a large circle of extended family and friends.

 Florence was predeceased by her husband, Sylvester; grandson Darren; grand-daughter, Mya; great-granddaughter, Alyssa; brother, Alfred Crews; sisters, Edna Cake and Violet Hillier; parents, Charlotte & Kenneth Crews; and parents-in-law, Bridgette & John Stacey.  

Due to the current Public Health Advisory of COVID-19 a private family burial will take place. A Memorial Service will be  held at a later date.

 In Florence’s memory, donations may be made to The Most Holy Rosary R.C. Church, P.O. Box 68 Lamaline, NL, A0E 2C0 or flowers gratefully accepted.
