  It is with great sadness that the family of the late VERA STACEY of Point May announce her passing at her home in Point May on Wednesday, November 20th, 2019.  Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are sons; Kevin Stacey (Molly) of St. John’s, Wayne Stacey (Georgina) of Point May and Derrick Stacey of Point May; daughters, Marie Stacey of Point May, and Jean Stacey of Point May; 5 grandchildren, Barbara (Chris), Deanne (Andrew), Mark, April (Albert), Valene (Chris); 3 great-grandchildren, Madelyn Rose, Abigail and Clark; also her wonderful caregivers, Elizabeth, Bernice, Heather, Loretta, Marion, Linda, Cathy and the entire Strickland family. Predeceased by her husband, Leslie Stacey; parents, John and Mary Strickland; sons, Terence Stacey, Clyde Stacey, Gary Stacey; daughter, Madonna Stacey; brother, Lewis Srickland.

The Family will be accepting visitors at the Church of the Most Holy Rosary in Point May on Thursday, November 21st from 7:00pm-9:00pm & Friday, November 22nd from 1:00pm-5:00pm and 7:00pm-9:00pm.  A family vigil will be held at 7:00pm on Friday.

Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Saturday, November 23rd at 11:00am from the Church of the Most Holy Rosary in Point May. Interment to take place at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Point May.

 In Vera’s memory, donations may be made to the Roman Catholic Cemetery Fund, Point May or flowers gratefully accepted.
