WM. KENNETH PIERCE

It is with broken hearts that the family of the late WM. KENNETH PIERCE of Fortune announces his passing.  Mr. Pierce passed away at his home in Fortune on Monday, September 30th, 2019 at the age of 85.  Leaving to mourn with a lifetime of wonderful memories are his wife Ida of 62 years; son, Perry Pierce (Joanne) of Fortune; daughters, Daisy Dicks of Grand Bank, Donna Newport (James) of Fortune, Kathy Pierce (Chris Trask) of New Brunswick, and Dianne Butt (Danny) of Fortune; 9 grandchildren, Denica, Brian, Steve, Candice, Kimberly, Jennifer, Jonathan, Kasey & Zachary; 10 great-grandchildren; sister, Sadie Harris of Ontario; brother, Fred Pierce (Elizabeth) of Fortune; plus a large circle of extended family and friends.  Kenneth was predeceased by his parents, Clyde & Florence Pierce; son, Brian Pierce; brothers, Edwin, Charles and John Pierce; and son-in-law, William Dicks.

 The Pierce Family will be accepting visitors at Wiseman’s Funeral Homes, Grand Bank on Wednesday, October 2nd from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.; and Thursday, October 3rd from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., and 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.  Funeral Service will take place at The Salvation Army Citadel, Fortune on Friday, October 4th, 2019 at 2:00 p.m.   Interment will follow at The Salvation Army Cemetery, Fortune.

 In Kenneth’s memory donations may be made to The Salvation Army Cemetery Fund, Fortune or flowers gratefully accepted.
