It is with broken hearts that the family of the late MABEL ELMS of Grand Bank announces her passing.  Mabel passed away at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Center in Burin on September 18th, 2019 at the age of 84  Leaving to mourn with a lifetime of wonderful memories are her step-sister, Gloria Douglas (Steve); nieces, Deanne Elms, Roxanne Brammer (George), and Sonya Zalik (Vlad); nephews, Keith Elms, and Albert Elms (Amy), great niece, Georgie Elms; great nephews, Oscar Elms, Chris Skinner, and Nicholas Zalik; great-great nephew, Caleb Skinner;  plus a large circle of extended family and friends.  Mabel was predeceased by her parents, Thomas and Lillian Elms; brothers, Oscar Elms, Albert Elms, and Carl Elms; and sister-in-law, Margaret Elms. 

The Elms Family will be accepting visitors at Wiseman’s Funeral Homes in Grand Bank on Friday, September 20th from 2pm to 4pm and 7pm to 9pm.   Funeral Service will take place at Salvation Army Church in Grand Bank on Saturday, September 21st at 2pm.

Interment to follow at the Salvation Army Cemetery in Grand Bank. 

In Mabel’s memory donations may be made to the Salvation Army or flowers gratefully accepted.
