It is with broken hearts that the family of the late ANNE-MARIE TURPIN of St. Lawrence announces her passing. Anne-Marie passed away at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre in Burin on Tuesday, August 20th, 2019 at the age of 71. Leaving to mourn with a lifetime of wonderful memories are her husband Ernest of 48 years; son, Louie Turpin (Janet) of Conception Bay South; daughters, Claudine Beaupertuis (Thierry) of St. Pierre et Miquelon, Melanie Turpin (Raymond) of Thunder Bay, and Leslie Turpin (Mark) of Mount Pearl; 6 grandchildren, Chloe, Theo, Liam, Maya, Jack, and Isaac; brothers-in-law, Philip Turpin, Bert Turpin (Viola), Patrick Turpin (Joan), and Joseph Turpin (Dorothy); sisters-in-law, Pricilla Briand, Sybil Turpin, Ann-Marie Turpin, and Myra (Ed) Kelly; plus a large circle of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Anne-Marie was predeceased by her parents, Richard and Ellen Briand; brother Richard Briand Jr. and sister Therese Turpin.
The Turpin Family will be accepting visitors at St. Thomas Aquias Roman Catholic Church in St. Lawrence on Thursday, August 22nd from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Friday, August 23rd from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a prayer vigil being held at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Thomas Aquinas Roman Catholic Church, St. Lawrence on Saturday, August 24th, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. Cremation will follow.
In Anne-Marie’s memory donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or flowers gratefully accepted.
