It is with great sadness that the family of the late MAURICE WILLIAM PITTMAN of Lamaline announce his passing at the Burin Peninsula Healthcare Centre in Burin on Monday, August 19th at the age of 90.  Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are; son, Wally of Sarnia, ON; daughters, Elizabeth Fitzpatrick of Point May, NL, Mary Meadus (Don) of Victoria, NL, Selena Hillier (Lloyd) of Lamaline, NL, Catherine Fleming (Clyde) of Lamaline, NL; special friends, Les & Susie, John  & Beulah, Earle & Kathleen; special fur buddy, Daisy; 10 grandchildren, Kim, Kenny, Wandalee, Barbara, Jenny, Matthew, Amanda, Valerie, Vickie, Vanessa; 13 great-grandchildren, Ashley, Nathan, Kaiden, Keegan, Peter, Luke, Allie, Savannah, Mason, Kal-el, Alex, TJ, Mary Jean; plus a large circle of family and friends. He was predeceased by his wife, Alice Jean; Parents, Roderick & Frances Pittman; sister, Mary; brothers, Lou, Pat, Walter, James, Gerald & John.

 The Pittman family will be accepting visitors at St. Mary’s Anglican Church in Lamaline on Tuesday, August 20th from 7:00pm to 9:00pm and Wednesday, August 21st from 12:00pm to 9:00pm. where the funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 22nd at 11:00am.

Interment to follow at the St. Mary’s Anglican Church Cemetery in Lamaline.

 In Maurice’s memory, donations may be made to the St. Mary’s Cemetery Fund, the St. Joseph’s Cemetery Fund or flowers gratefully accepted.
