MARY PEARL POULAIN

It is with broken hearts that the family of the late MARY PEARL POULAIN of Creston South announces her passing.  Mrs. Poulain passed away at her home in Creston South on Monday, July 22nd, 2019 at the age of 92.  Leaving to mourn with a lifetime of wonderful memories are her children, Emily Frizzell  (Jim), James Poulain (Juanita), Geraldine Hickman, Gus Poulain  (Kathleen), Clarence Poulain, Peter Poulain (Marcella), Gerard  Poulain (Bernice), Joseph Poulain (Susan),  Mary Poulain (Lorne) and Florence Harding (Tim); son-in-law, Bill Duffney; 24 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; sisters, Theresa Bungay and Rose Albert; brothers Walter Monk and Morris Monk; special friend, Shilo Myles; plus a large circle of family and friends. 

Pearl was predeceased by her husband, Peter; daughters, Selena Doucette and Evangeline Duffney; granddaughter, Karen Poulain; daughter-in-law, Theresa Poulain; son-in-law, Lester Hickman; 4 sisters and 1 brother. 

The Poulain Family will be accepting visitors at Wiseman’s Funeral Homes, Marystown on Tuesday, July 23rd from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.; and Wednesday, July 24th from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Funeral mass will be held at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, Marystown on Thursday, July 25th, 2019 at 11:00 a.m.  Interment will follow at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Cemetery, Little Bay.

In Pearl’s memory donations may be made to the Poulain Family or flowers gratefully accepted.
