It is with great sadness that the family of the late MARGARET A. FOLLETT of Grand Bank, NL announce her passing at the Blue Crest Home in Grand Bank on Thursday, July 4th, 2019 at the age of 83. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are husband Claude of 64 years; daughters, Cecilia Dodge (Ron) of Grand Bank, Rowena Thornhill (John) of Innisfil, ON, Janie Smith (Robin) of Grand Bank, Daisy Follett (Jon) of Kemptville, ON, Tina Kelloway (Mike) of Brampton, On; sisters, Annie Barfitt (Lloyd), Susie Janes (Dolph), Georgie Burton (Clyde); sisters-in-law, Janie Riggs, Ethel Keeping, Nina Lagasse, Bessie Follett, Eva Riggs, Lorena Follett; brother, Lloyd Riggs (Sharon); brother-in-law, George Follett; 8 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren. Special mention to Hughie & Jenny Follett, caregiver Marilyn Yates-Peach, and Dr. Beckley & the staff of the Blue Crest Home. She was predeceased by daughter, Marion; parents, George & Azelia Riggs; parents-in-law, Ernest & Beulah Follett; brothers, Bill, Fred, Tom, Lou, Sam; sisters, Irene, Elizabeth; brothers-in-law, John Nurse, Gordon Weymouth, John Follett, Stanley Follett, Bert Follett, Eli Follett, Chesley Keeping; sisters-in-law, Charlotte Follett, Stella Follett, Lou Belle Follett, Sadie Follett, Ann Riggs, Elizabeth Riggs, Lee Riggs.
The Family will be accepting visitors at Wiseman’s Funeral Home in Grand Bank on Thursday, July 4th from 7:00pm to 9:00pm and Friday, July 5th from 2:00pm to 4:00pm & 7:00pm to 9:00pm. Funeral Service will take place on Saturday, July 6th at 2:00 pm from The Salvation Army. Interment to follow in the Salvation Army Cemetery, Grand Bank Cemetery.
In Margaret’s memory, donations may be made to the Salvation Army Cemetery, no flowers by request.
