It is with broken hearts that the family of the late DORA V. WOODLAND of Taylor’s Bay announces her passing.  Mrs. Woodland passed away at the U.S. Memorial  Health Care Centre in St. Lawrence on Thursday, May 16th, 2019 at the age of 80.  Leaving to mourn with a lifetime of wonderful memories are her sons, Freeman (Sharon) Woodland of Toronto, ON, Calvin (Annette) Woodland of Taylor’s Bay, Clyde (Cavella) Woodland of Bowmanville, ON, Samuel (Belinda) Woodland of Sackville, NS, and Thomas (Wanda) Woodland of Ajax, ON; daughters, Violet (Ambrose) Beck of Whitby, ON, and Mary (Chris) Sheppard of Williamswood, NS; 13 grandchildren; brother, John Hollett of Marystown; plus a large circle of extended family and friends.  Dora was predeceased by her husband, Sidney Woodland; parents, William & Etta Hollett; brothers, George & Samuel Hollett; and sisters, Caroline Brushett & Marguerite Hollett.

 The Woodland Family will be accepting visitors at St. Mary’s Anglican Church, Lamaline on Sunday, May 19th from 1:00 pm to 9:00 pm; and Monday, May 20th from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm.  From where the funeral service will be held on Monday, May 20th at 2:00 pm.  Interment will follow at St. Mary’s Anglican Cemetery, Lamaline.

 In Dora’s memory donations can be made to St. Mary’s Anglican Cemetery, Lamaline or flowers gratefully accepted.
