BEATRICE GRACE BUGDEN
It is with broken hearts that the family of the late BEATRICE GRACE BUGDEN formerly of Epworth & St. Lawrence announces her passing. Grace passed away at St. Luke’s Nursing Home in St. John’s on March 22nd, 2019 at the age of 84. Leaving to mourn with a lifetime of wonderful memories are her sons, Harold (Vivian) Bugden of St. Lawrence, and Calvin (Gail) Bugden of Mount Pearl; daughter, Dorothy (Cyril) Grant of CBS; 8 grandchildren, Jason Clarke, April (Teddy) Edwards, Alison (Colin) Thistle, William Bugden (Shannon Drake), Lisa Grant (Andrew Holloway), Michael Grant (Marissa House-Denine), Marc Bugden (Kaitlyn Butler) and Ryan Bugden; great-granddaughter, Delilah Holloway, who lit up her life; sister, Winnie (Harry) Hartlin of Dartmouth, NS; sister-in-law, Mae Pitcher; plus a large number of nieces, nephews, family and friends. Grace was predeceased by her parents Matthew & Winnifred Pitcher; husband, William Bugden; twin sister, Ruth Mitchell; sister, Edna Hollett; and brothers, Dan and Joseph Pitcher.

The Bugden Family will be accepting visitors at PENINSULA FUNERAL HOME, Creston South on Saturday, March 23rd from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.; Sunday, March 24th from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm to 9:00pm; and Monday, March 25th from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon. Funeral Service will take place at the United Church, Lewins Cove on Monday, March 25th at 2:00 pm. Interment to follow at the United Church Cemetery, Epworth.
In Grace’s memory donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or flowers gratefully accepted.
