JEROME F. KILFOY

It is with broken hearts that the family of the late JEROME F. KILFOY of Little Bay announces his passing.  Mr. Kilfoy passed away at the Caribou Veteran’s Pavilion in St. John’s on Saturday, January 12th, 2019 at the age of 96.  Leaving to mourn with a lifetime of wonderful memories are his sons, William of Little Bay, Christopher (Clara) of Mt. Pearl, John (Leona) of Marystown, Don (Ellen) of Marystown, Paul (Liza) of ON, and Leonard of Mount Pearl; daughters, Martha (Joe) Pike of Spanish Room, Ellen (Charles) Picco of Rushoon, and Mary McCallum of Paradise; daughter-in-law, Janet Kilfoy of St. John’s; 25 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; plus a large circle of family and friends.  Jerome was predeceased by his wife, Ellen Kilfoy; parents, John & Martha Kilfoy; children, Joseph, Little Jerome, Twins Jerome & Selina, and baby Mary; brother, Billy, Thomas, Andrew & Cecil; sisters, Elizabeth Kelly and Ellen Kilfoy; daughter-in-law, Patricia Kilfoy; and son-in-law, Bill McCallum. 

The Kilfoy Family will be accepting visitors at Wiseman’s Funeral Homes, Marystown on Monday, January 14th, from 1:00 pm to 9:00 pm; and Tuesday, January 15th, from 12:00 pm to 9:00 pm; with a prayer vigil being held at 8:00 pm.  Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Wednesday, January 16th at 10:30 am from Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, Marystown.

Interment will follow at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Cemetery, Little Bay 

In Jerome’s memory donations may be made to Sacred Heart Academy Breakfast Program or flowers gratefully accpeted.
