It is with broken hearts that the family of the late DAWN MARIE POWER of Mortier announces her passing.  Dawn passed away at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Center on Sunday, January 6th, 2019 at the age of 32.  Leaving to mourn with a lifetime of wonderful memories are her loving parents, Patrick & Nora Power of Mortier; sisters, Colleen Power of St. John’s, and Sonya (Kent) Fewer of Sioux Lookout, ON; brother, Grant (Jennifer) Power of Sioux Lookout, ON; nieces, Sara and McKenna; nephews, Kaden, Lucas and Jacob; plus a large circle of aunts, uncles, cousins, and many, many friends.  Dawn was predeceased by her grandparents Peter & Katie Power and Jim & Aggie Grant.

The Power Family will be accepting visitors at Peninsula Funeral Home, Creston South on Monday, January 7th, from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm; and Tuesday, January 8th, from 10:00 am to 9:00 pm.  A Prayer Vigil will be held at Peninsula Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 8th at 8:00 pm.  Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Wednesday, January 9th, 2019 at 10:30 am from St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church in Burin. 

In Dawn’s memory, donations may be made to Donald C. Jamieson Breakfast Program.
