CHARLES GILBERT

 It is with great sadness that the family of the late CHARLES GILBERT of Fortune announces his passing at the Blue Crest Home in Grand Bank on Tuesday, December 4th, 2018, at the age of 89.  Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are wife Eva of 63 years; sons, Brian Gilbert  (Marg) of Meadows, Melvin Gilbert of Lower Sackville, NS, Lloyd Gilbert of Hammond Plains, NS, Derrick Gilbert of Lower Sackville, NS; daughter, Jane Cluett (Dean) of Lower Sackville; sister, Winnie Upshall of Arnold’s Cove; brothers, Angus Gilbert (Lorraine) of Dunville, Percy Gilbert (Dorothy) of  Roddickton;  8 Grandchildren, Kimberley & Krista Gilbert, Mark & Ryan Gilbert, Mitchell & Devan Gilbert, Joshua & Andrew Cluett; a number of neices & nephews; 4 sisters-in-law; 1 brother-in-law and a large circle of family & friends.

The Gilbert Family will be accepting visitors at All Saints Anglican Church in Fortune on Wednesday, December 5th from 2:00pm to 4:00pm & 7:00pm to 9:00pm; Thursday, December 6th from 2:00pm to 4:00pm  & 7:00pm to 9:00pm. The Funeral Service will take place on Friday, December 7th at 2:00pm from All Saints Anglican Church in Fortune. Internment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery in Fortune.

 In Charles’ memory, donations may be made to the Blue Crest Bus Fund or the All Saints Anglican Cemetery Fund or flowers gratefully accepted.
