RAYMOND JOSEPH MURPHY
It is with great sadness that the family of the late RAYMOND JOSEPH MURPHYof Parker’s Cove announces his passing at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Center in Burin on April 12th, 2018 at the age of 75. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are sons, Roby (Sarah) of Paradise, and Raymond (Brianne) of Medicine Hat, AB; daughters, Evelyn Hayse (Kelly) of Parker’s Cove, and Elaine Jackman (Colin) of Creston South; his partner Dorothy and her family, Dorothy (Jeff), Tammy (Paul), Tanya (Tim), Benny (Audrey), Ralph (Zita), Eddie (April) and their children; sisters, Marion Murphy (Bernard), and Mary Kate Hayse (Ren); brothers, Johnny (Cecilia), Thomas (Madeline), and Kevin (Elsie); sisters-in-law Mary Ann Murphy, Ella Mae Fewer, Daphne (Kevin Banfield) and Helen Reid (Hughie); brothers-in-law, Edward Pardy and Cyril Synard (Kathy); 10 grandchildren, Blair, Kathy, Emily, Jada, Bradley, Devon, Darcy, Norah, Austin and Chase; plus a large circle of extended family and friends. He was predeceased by his wife Kathleen Murphy; parents, Albert and Susie Murphy; brothers, Pius Murphy and Charlie Fewer; sisters, Hilda Gaulton, Mercedes Pardy; and baby Magdalen.
The Murphy Family will be accepting visitors at Our Lady of Lordes Roman Catholic Church in Parker’s Cove on Sunday, April 15th from 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will take place at Our Lady of Lordes Roman Catholic Church in Parker’s Cove on Monday, April 16th at 11:00 a.m. Cremation to follow.
In Raymond’s memory, donations may be made to Burin Peninsula Health Care Center - Patient Chemo Fund.
